Sunset Red Lava Rock 1½"

Description: The depths of red vary in color depending on the amount of moisture content. Drier rocks tend to display lighter reds and dampened rocks appear deep red.

When installed it compliments green plants or bright whites to create a beautiful display. Lava rock is created when rapidly cooled magma begins to harden. Due to the nature of this natural forming rock, its physical properties will vary by size, density and color.

Uses: Landscaping design and better alternative to mulch replacement. 

Coverage: A layer of lava rock between three to five inches is recommended to best enjoy the practical benefits of lava rock. One cubic yard is estimated to cover about 100 square feet when layered about 2-3 inches. Rule of thumb is always anticipate a little extra with landscaping so you don't run short.
